Railroad interchange planned for west Alabama

The Yellowhammer State looks like it might be receiving a new railroad interchange and freight corridor adding to its already booming economy. The new corridor will serve to connect Mexico, Texas, and much of the southeastern United States.

According to a recent report published by researchers at the University of Alabama and two universities in Florida, those hoping to pay rent in the Yellowhammer State and not be pressed for cash must have access to at least $59,000 per year.
