Today, the Alabama Wildlife Federation announced that it has formed a partnership with both Vulcan Materials and Cooper Marine in order to take on an important Gulf Coast environmental restoration project. Vulcan Materials will provide the limestone from its Tuscumbia Pride quarry in order to be used as oyster cultch, which is a material laid down to furnish points of attachment for recently settled oysters or “spat”.
