Later this month, former President Donald Trump will return to Alabama for another high-profile event.

According to an announcement from the Alabama Republican Party, Trump will be in Cullman at York Family Farms on August 21.

Gates will open at 2 p.m. with the event beginning at 5 p.m., and Trump is expected to take the stage at 7 p.m.

Alabama Republican Party chairman John Wahl encourages those interested in attending to visit their website at ALGOP.org.

Trump previously had hosted rallies in Mobile in 2015 and 2016, Madison in 2016 and Huntsville in 2017, in addition to attending the Alabama-LSU football game in 2019.

An event had been proposed for the USS Alabama in Mobile last month, but those efforts were canceled when the USS Alabama Battleship Commission hesitated to approve the event.

More details to come.
