The Yellowhammer State has quickly become a major tourist destination for Americans throughout the country, according to the newly released 2022 Alabama Tourism Economic Report.

Attorney General Steve Marshall Tuesday, announced that Alabama is part of a group of 42 other states that have now reached a settlement with, Indivior Inc. ,the manufacturer of Suboxone. The nationwide settlement comes at a cost of $102.5 million for the company, with Alabama set to receive close to $1,392,964.

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions Inc., announced that it has been given a five year Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Divisions (NSWCDD) contract worth as much as $46.7 million to run tests on thermal protection systems materials, which are used in ballistic reentry, at its Kratos' SRE facility located in Birmingham.

According to recently released court documents from a US attorney's office, a United States Senator reportedly received a death threat in mid May that resulted in the arrest of a New Hampshire man.
