Legislation that would allow parents to surrender there child anonymously to "A Safe Haven Baby Box" ,as long as the baby is no more than 45 days old, has made it through both the Alabama House of Representatives and the Senate and will now go to Governor Kay Ivey to be signed into law.

Yesterday, Governor Kay Ivey announced that an official date and time has been set for the execution of James Barber. Barber, will be the first person executed in Alabama since a hold was placed on them in late November of last year after accusations of botched executions were made.
