DAY 4: Friday, January 6, 2012

Western Wall of Jerusalem – Old City
Old City of Jerusalem – Four Quarters: We will explore the vast history within the walls of the ancient city including a walk on the ancient path of the Via Dolorosa.

Meeting with Forsan Hussein: Hussein was the first Muslim to head the Jerusalem YMCA which was founded to put Christian principles into practice in the Jewish State. Forsan finds himself at the crossroads of faith, politics, and society. Deeply influenced by coexistence projects – most notably a Palestinian-Israeli Soccer camp – he has dedicated himself to articulating and formulating plans of action for fostering unity.

Lunch at Mahane Yehudah Market: East meets West at this bustling market where Jerusalem comes to prepare itself for Shabbat which is the seventh day of the Jewish week – a day of rest.
