Wrestler bursts into Alabama Jiu Jitsu class, challenges instructor, gets whooped

An unexpected visitor burst into 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu in Decatur, Alabama on Monday and ended up getting more than he bargained for.

An unidentified wrestler, who said he had four years of experience, interrupted a class being led by Brandon McCaghren and demanded to square off against the veteran instructor.

“This gentleman walked in our gym… and he wanted to challenge the instructor to a grappling match,” McCaghren explained. “I gave him exactly what he was hoping for, I think.”

For approximately the next five minutes, security cameras captured the carnage, which can be viewed in the video above.

In case you’re keeping track, the submissions in order are:

1. Reverse Triangle
2. Rear Naked Choke
3. High Elbow Guillotine AKA Marcelotine
4. Darce
5. Gogoplata from the Rubber Guard
6. Wet Willy. Yes, a legit Wet Willy.

“For the record, this guy turned out to be a really nice dude,” McCaghren said after it was all over. “He is actually planning on coming back and signing up for class.”

With the video starting to go viral, I don’t think he’ll be the only one.
