Every Republican member of Alabama’s U.S. House delegation voted along with their colleagues to give final passage to President Donald Trump’s rescissions package.

President Donald Trump’s rescission package, which would codify a portion of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cuts, passed the U.S. House on Friday by a 216-213 vote.

This comes just a day after U.S. Senators Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) and Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) joined their Republicans colleagues to pass it in the upper chamber.
