WATCH: Tiger Woods receives huge welcome alongside Trump at White House

In what was quite the heavy hitting duo, the greatest golfer of all time accepted a special guest appearance to the White House by President Donald Trump as part of a celebration for Black History Month.

Woods, who was presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Trump back in 2019, donned the medal proudly as he took the stage to loud chants of his name started by the President.

“It’s an honor to be here, it’s an honor to be here with you Mr. President, and an honor to be here with all of you. Thank you so much,” Woods told the crowd.

Woods and Trump have been at the center of negotiations between the PGA Tour and the Saudi-backed LIV Golf league in order to try to bring the two tours back together, negotiations which have been ongoing for multiple years now. With Trump now stepping in to assist and an urgency from all sides to get things expedited, it’s reasonable to expect a deal will get done in the coming months.
