To the surprise of absolutely no one, U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) was beaten by her Republican primary challenger by more than 30 points.

Now that she will be unencumbered by a job, the congresswoman wants to take her obsession with former President Donald Trump to the next level.

The folks covering her loss on CNN find themselves having a hard time processing this defeat. They feel that the United States is about to crumble and believe a Civil War is imminent.

This is some melodramatic theatre that only Trump haters are interested in.
