WATCH: Saban starts up his Ferrari for recruit

Alabama head coach Nick Saban has always been known as a master recruiter — but his latest tactic might just be the best one yet.

In a video posted by Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., son of former Alabama cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, Saban showed off his beautiful red Ferrari:

Saban famously only drives the Ferrari on Wednesdays (and if it isn’t raining), so we know he didn’t drive it today but rather just started it up.

As for Kirkpatrick Jr., he committed to Alabama back in August as a 3-star safety out of Gadsden City high school, the same school his father attended.

He will try to continue his father’s legacy once again, this time in Tuscaloosa, where the senior Kirkpatrick was a 2x national champion and 2x all-SEC second teamer.

Perhaps if Kirkpatrick Jr. can carry on the same legacy, maybe coach Saban will even let him drive the Ferrari one day.
