Watch: Redistricting is politics and noise — Both sides are trying to game the system

Redistricting is an inherently political process that assists entrenched political interests in maintaining their political majorities.

The process is about keeping and taking seats for the people that draw the lines. This happens with either Democrats or Republicans in control of the process.

Many will say this is about race. That is silly because it is about power.
