The Michigan Wolverines, who earned the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff rankings earlier this morning, were not sweating out whether or not they would qualify for the CFP.

They were, however, waiting to see what ranking it would earn and who it would wind up matching them up with as a result.

When it was announced that Michigan’s prize for earning the No. 1 spot in the CFP would be a date with Nick Saban, Jalen Milroe, and the SEC Champion Alabama Crimson Tide, it’s safe to say that their reaction was not one of excitement:

While the line for Alabama and Michigan opened up favoring the Wolverines by three points, most major sports books have already shifted that number all the way down to 1.5 points.

Michigan and Alabama will face off on Monday, January 1st in the Rose Bowl for a spot in the National Championship game.
