Watch: Alabama School Choice Week is weak on school choice in Alabama

National School Choice Week continues, and Alabama’s main contribution to this week is a proclamation from Governor Kay Ivey declaring it to also be Alabama School Choice Week.

There has been no push from Alabama to realistically expand school choice in Alabama while 19 other states have taken advantage of parental frustration to advance choices for those parents.
