(Video) David Letterman loves Birmingham’s St. Paul & the Broken Bones so much he freaks out

“The first time I heard this song I was screaming ’til I cried,” Late Show host David Letterman said as he introduced musical guest St. Paul and the Broken Bones. “That’s what I want. Can you do that for me tonight? And it won’t be your fault, but if I don’t get that I’m going to stop the show and we’ll do it over… Let’s launch this rocket! This is going to be fantastic.”

And boy was it ever.
