Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper leads the country in receptions and receiving yards and is the favorite to win the Biletnikoff Award for being the best receiver in college football.

The soft-spoken Cooper was asked tonight what he would do with the trophy if he won.

“I haven’t even thought about it,” Cooper said. “I’ll probably just give it to my mom, and let her put it where she wants to put it.”

Cooper is a finalist alongside West Virginia wide receiver Kevin White and Colorado State’s Rashard Higgins. The Biletnikoff Award will be presented during the College Football Awards on ESPN Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. Central.
