Vice President Aaron Rodgers? Robert F. Kennedy Jr. likes the idea

Former Green Bay Packers and current New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has never been afraid to use his platform to discuss political beliefs ranging from vaccinations to Jeffery Epstein’s client list.

Rodgers has never shown a full-fledged interest in the political arena — until now.

Circling the internet on Tuesday, and as first reported by the New York Times, was the headline that presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has the Hall of Fame quarterback as one of his top options on the shortlist for running mate, and that Rodgers is actually considering.

Rodgers has advocated for Kennedy on the campaign trail:

After a high-profile trade to New York last offseason, Rodgers missed nearly the entire 2023 season following an Achilles injury suffered in the first quarter of week one.

Also amongst the names discussed was former Minnesota governor and professional wrestler Jesse Ventura along with others.

According to the Washington Post, Kennedy Jr. has his running mate already decided on and will make an announcement within the next two weeks.
