U.S. Senator-elect Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) on Friday announced the composition of his transition committee, which will be led by Stan McDonald as chairman.

McDonald, a lawyer from Huntsville, chaired Tuberville’s campaign during the final stage of the Republican primary and then runoff before serving as campaign co-chairman during the general election contest. McDonald was chair of the pro-Tuberville Grit PAC before transitioning to the campaign itself.

The transition committee ranges in composition, including geographically as well as in the background of each member.

“I look forward to working with the committee as I prepare to serve Alabama in the United States Senate. This is a job I do not take lightly,” stated Tuberville.

Another well-known member of the committee will be Tripp Skipper of Auburn, who led the Tuberville campaign in its early stages and — as evidenced by his selection to the transition committee — remains a close advisor to the senator-elect.

The committee’s full composition is as follows:

• Stan McDonald- Huntsville, Transition Chairman
• Tripp Skipper- Auburn, Skipper Group
• Terry Harbin- Mobile, Market President for BancorpSouth Bank
• John Ferguson- Dothan, Dothan City Commissioner
• Duwan Walker- Prattville, CEO of Hi.Ed
• Jeff Brooks- Birmingham, CEO of HighPoint Holdings
• Steve Raby- Huntsville, Direct Communications
• RJ Rhodes- Huntsville, Retired businessman
• Chester McKinney- Florence, Owner of McVantage
• John Wahl- Athens, Vice-Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party
