Trump’s Alabama approval rating highest in nation

President Donald Trump does not enjoy a higher approval rating in any state than Alabama, according to the latest polling released this week by Morning Consult.

Trump’s approval rating is at 63 percent in the state led by Governor Kay Ivey. West Virginia and Wyoming tied Alabama for the title of highest rating.

The president’s lowest approval rating comes in Washington, D.C., where only 20 percent approve and 77 percent disapprove. The nation’s capital is followed by Massachusetts (35 percent approve, 62 percent disapprove), California (36 percent approve, 59 percent disapprove) and Vermont (37 percent approve, 61 percent disapprove). Close is New York, where 38 percent approve and 58 percent disapprove.
