Trump honors Alabama company in fourth annual Made in America Showcase

Alabama’s own Wickles Pickles was chosen to represent the Yellowhammer State at the Trump administration’s fourth annual Made in America Showcase.

The event was slated to occur this week at the White House, however the president contracting COVID-19 changed those original plans.

Nevertheless, Wickles Pickles was recognized in a statement from White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

“Each year since taking office, President Donald J. Trump has welcomed hundreds of business owners and workers from every State to display their unique, American-made products at the annual Made in America Showcase,” she explained.

“The President extends his sincere appreciation to the companies that planned to attend this year’s event at the White House today. He is incredibly proud of their grit, ingenuity, and use of American labor to manufacture exceptional products on the homeland,” McEnany added. “President Trump remains steadfastly committed to implementing policies that put American workers first and allow businesses across the United States to thrive.”

Governor Kay Ivey celebrated Wickles Pickles — which was founded in Tallapoosa County and now operates out of Pike County — in a tweet on Tuesday.
