Bryant can pick up the phone and call the governor and start moving mountains at a moment’s notice. He’s the bedrock in Bentley World. Other players close to the governor are more involved in the administration on a daily basis, but Bryant is the foundation the whole operation was built on.

If you could pick one last name to have as an Alabamian, it would probably be Bryant. He’s been both an able protector of his father’s legacy, and someone who has capitalized on the opportunities he’s been given and taken his family name to new heights in the business world. He’s Chairman of the wildly successful Bryant Bank and President of Greene Group, Inc., a private holding company.

He’s also President Pro Tem of the Univ. of Alabama Board of Trustees. ESPN named him one of the top 10 college boosters in the country.

From state government, to business, to higher education, Bryant’s reach as a private citizen is unmatched in the state.
