History can be seen in every corner of Montgomery. The pews of Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church show the humble beginnings of the most prominent leader of the Civil Rights Movement.

The beautiful 1847 State Capitol building shows where Jefferson Davis took the oath of office. You can see the bus stop where Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat in 1955, or the streets that marked the Selma to Montgomery march, one of the most powerful marches of the Civil Rights Movement.
