There is talk of a statue honoring Charlie Kirk at the U.S. Capitol, but that seems unlikely despite how appropriate it might be.

Listen to the college kids that Kirk spoke to every day, and you will see that a statue on college campuses makes far more sense, because the anger they will create only proves Kirk’s entire point.

A statue there would honor Kirk and show how depraved his enemies are as they attack a statue to free speech.

U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville continued to hold a hardline stance against the corruption of the Democratic Party during an appearance on Newsmax over the weekend.

Alabama’s senior senator called for numerous establishment liberal leaders to be indicted and charged with treason as their role in the Russian collusion hoax of the 2016 Presidential Election becomes increasingly clear.

According to Tuberville (R-Auburn), the effort to undermine Trump’s candidacy and first term was led by two individuals in particular: former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“They all should go to jail, at least be indicted,” Tuberville said.

“The American people want justice, and we watched what happened in Russia-gate, the fraud during COVID, and of course when Joe Biden took over and didn’t know what day it was most of the time in office. Other people were running the country. And that’s how the Democrats work. They work behind the scenes, they manipulate, they cheat, they steal. It’s amazing to me. I’ve been up for one on five years, and I’m just shocked at how crooked this place is, with the Democrats every step of the way, trying to manipulate the American people and the American people’s money.”

Tuberville said that the duo of liberal leaders have been ‘caught dead to rights’ in the act of treason, thanks to a federal investigation, which has largely been since declassified.

“They know they’re caught,” he continued. “And that’s the reason they have to every day come out and say, there’s a problem with this. It’s all fake news. This is not fake news. This is all coming from their mouth or their computer, from Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama to all these people behind the scenes. Clapper and Comey, Brennan, they were all in on this. And again, it was trying to bring a government to its knees. And they almost they almost accomplished that.”

Republicans, according to Tuberville, must hold the guilty parties accountable.

“If Kamala Harris would have won, it would have been over. And thank God she didn’t. So at the end of the day, thank goodness that President Trump is our leader. But they are not finished. They’re coming after him every day. They’ll come up with some other conjecture over the period of the next year or so. They are going to fight as hard as they can. We have got to make sure that we do not let up on them and hope to god for the American people, that these people are at least indicted and brought to court, criminal court to where they can stand trial for treason.”

U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) wants Congress to hold members of President Joe Biden’s administration accountable for covering up the president’s mental and physical decline.

The Senate Judiciary Committee heard testimony from former first-term Trump administration officials during a hearing on Biden’s decline on Wednesday. Democrats are currently boycotting the proceedings.

“[I]t is clear that there are people within this administration that saw that, and they should be sitting in front of us today answering the question of why they turned their back on America, because that’s exactly what they did,” Britt said during the hearing. “And so whether it’s secretaries, whether it’s people in the administration, or whether it is senior staff. We deserve some accountability. We deserve some answers.”

The senator also discussed the issue during a Wednesday appearance on Newsmax TV.

“It was the autopen-in-chief, no doubt,” Britt said. “Look, we deserve answers. The American people deserve answers. And the fact that my Democratic colleagues today couldn’t show up and try to help us get those, I think, tells the American people everything they need to know. At the end of the day, we know that our Commander in Chief, when it was Joe Biden, he was not in command.”

“Somebody else was making the decisions, and we need answers to who that was.” @SenKatieBritt detailed the Senate hearing on the cover-up of President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline on Wednesday’s “American Agenda.” @LidiaNews @BobBrooks_NMX pic.twitter.com/PS99byKvwd

— NEWSMAX (@NEWSMAX) June 18, 2025

The issue of Biden’s health has received renewed attention in recent weeks due to the release of the book Original Sin, which details the alleged cover-up of the president’s condition.

“There is no doubt that he was of diminished mental capacity,” Britt continued. “And the question becomes, who was actually making these decisions, whether it is pardons or you look at the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan that sent shock waves, not just through that a region, but the entire world that we are paying the consequences for today….And what we know is, is that while Joe Biden was the president, somebody else was making the decisions, and we need answers to who that was.”

Britt also used her experience as a former Senate staffer to give some perspective on the issue.

“Look, I have been a senior staffer myself,” she explained. “When you have the honor to work in this building, when you have the honor to work to make our country better, you take an oath as well. Those people who took an oath, who chose to turn the other way, or even worse, chose to conceal this from the American people. We deserve accountability from them as well. That’s who needs to be sitting in front of us. We need to know what happened, and we need to ensure that it never it never happens again.”

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville joined Newsmax’s “Wake Up America” Tuesday morning and discussed early voting by Republicans, the differences between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, as well as, the recent lawsuit from the Justice Department against the state of Alabama.

“I think Republicans are learning for the first time to vote and go early,” Tuberville (R-Auburn) said. “You know, and we haven’t done that in the past. I think you’re seeing record turnouts of Republicans right now, especially in the South.  We’ve been keeping up with it.

“Again, it’s something new for us. But, hey, if they’re going to do it, let’s do it, and let’s do it the right way.”

Tuberville said he believes Harris’ handlers are intentionally keeping her off camera and that she cannot compare to Trump’s work ethic.

“She’s been a disaster. Her poll numbers keep going down,” Tuberville said. “Donald Trump is the Energizer bunny. I mean, he does not quit. I mean, he keeps going and going and going … he sleeps 2 or 3 hours a night, but he loves what he’s doing. He loves the country. He’s our only chance. We can’t lose this.

“He will get us out of the wars. He will get us back to spending the right way.”

Tuberville also touched on the Justice Department’s recent lawsuit against Alabama, filed after the state began purging of “likely” noncitizens from its voting rolls.

“We are getting sued, obviously from Merrick Garland, the attorney general of the United States,” said Tuberville. “He’s a Democrat.”

According to Tuberville, Alabama will remain a “Donald Trump state.” However, he stressed the need for Republicans to not get complacent with voting.

“There’s no problem there. But we have to make sure that we have congressional seats covered because our representatives run every two years,” he said. “I’m not up this year. [GOP Sen.] Katie Britt is not up this year. But our representatives are and we want to make sure we turn out strong.

“Democrats are trying to do everything they possibly can to keep Republicans from voting.”

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is so frustrated with the Biden administration that he thinks the country would be better off if the federal government just closed up shop for the next few months.

We need to close Washington, D.C. for the next 6 months and save America. #MAGAhttps://t.co/2IHiUKCJo9

— Tommy Tuberville (@TTuberville) May 22, 2024

“We need to close these buildings up there and go home for the next seven, eight months before we really put this country under,” Tuberville said Wednesday on Newsmax.

The senator was reacting to President Joe Biden calling for an increase in the capital gains taxes and corporate income taxes.

“You can’t make this up,” he said. “You don’t do that in an election year, so something’s going wrong out there. Something is kind of fishy with this election coming up when they’re saying, Hey, by the way, we’re going to double your capital gains tax. Makes no sense whatsoever what they’re doing.”

Biden has proposed raising the corporate income tax rate from 21% to 28% and to raise the capital gains tax to 44.5%.

Tuberville also blasted the current state of Social Security.

“No, most people won’t get Social Security,” he said. “It’s just unfortunate. It was a tax that was levied on the American people years ago, sold a bill of goods. Hey, we’re going to take care of your retirement.”

Current estimates say the federal government has $93.1 trillion in unfunded liabilities related to benefit programs like Social Security.

“If you would have taken the money that you put in Social Security and put it in a 401k,” he continued, “it would have been worth 10, 15, 20, 30 times what it is today. It’s unfortunate, this place up here. The federal government does not know how to handle your money, but they want more of it.”

The Social Security Trust Fund will run out in 2035 according to a Social Security & Medicare Trustees report.

U.S. Congressman Robert Aderholt appeared on Newsmax to discuss his visit to the Southern Border last week — as well as the ongoing attempt by multiple states, particularly Colorado, to ban former President Donald Trump from appearing on their 2024 Presidential Republican primary ballots.

“I can’t imagine that the Supreme Court would allow states to take a candidate off the ballot. That is just nonsense,” Aderholt said. “The President hasn’t even been convicted of anything.”

“So, it’s just politics completely on its face.”

Aderholt (R-Haleyville) also said he believes the broader effort to remove Trump from state ballots is actually helping the former president by signaling to voters their choices are being taken away from them.

“I think something has to be done. The Supreme Court has got to speak, has got to put this to rest,” he said. “This is probably helping the President, because I think the American people see through this and are very frustrated that these courts in each state are trying to decide who the President is going to be when its the people of the United States taken together as a whole should be making that decision.”

Colorado’s ruling would bar the Colorado Secretary of State from placing Trump’s name on the ballot and counting any votes for the former President. That ruling is now in the hands of the nation’s highest court.

“I am convinced that the Supreme Court will do the right thing and at the end of the day they will say that a state or a secretary of state from a particular state like Colorado cannot make the decision to just take someone off the ballot because they feel that they’re not qualified.”

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled on December 19, alleging that Trump was ineligible to appear on the Republican primary ballot in the state because he had violated the the 14th amendment.

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville said President Joe Biden’s border policies could result in future terror attacks in America.

The House Homeland Security Committee released transcripts this week of depositions with Border Patrol Chiefs claiming they have seen an “unprecedented surge” in illegal immigrants coming to the U.S. in 2023.

Tuberville (R-Auburn) reacted to the news on Monday’s edition of Newsmax TV’s “The Balance.”

“We’ve had hundreds and hundreds of terrorists come across the border, and you know what? We could care less, not we, but the Biden administration,” Tuberville said. “It is going to get us into so much trouble. We’re going to have a 9/11 attack every few weeks if we don’t watch it.

“It is out of control, but this group could care less.”

The senator said the Biden administration should have changed its border policies after the terrorist attack in Israel by Hamas.

“What happened in Israel and Hamas,” he said, “that catastrophe going on over there, when that happened Joe Biden should have woke up and called Secretary Austin and said, ‘Ok, send every available personnel to the border immediately. Close it down. Nobody else comes in.'”

Tuberville also said there isn’t enough urgency from most members of Congress to fix the problem.

“I’m up here watching what’s going on and I’m thinking, ‘Who cares? Who cares about the American people? Who cares about the taxpayers of this country?’ I can’t find anybody, on both sides of the aisle,” he said. “It’s about spending damn money and I’m sick of it. I’m telling you, I’m sick of it. I’m sick of watching what’s going on up here and if we don’t wake up it’s going to be over.”

. @JoeBiden’s border crisis is the worst in American history – by far.

CBP is overwhelmed, and deadly drugs are pouring into our communities.

We need to secure our border now.

With just two words, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville got his point across for the likelihood of Republicans convincing him to lift the holds he has placed on military promotions over an abortion policy.

According to Newsmax, U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), former 2016 running mate of Hillary Clinton, told reporters last week that he believes the holds will come to an end soon.

“I think there’s going to be a point where the Republicans will not enable this destructive behavior,” said Kaine. “They’ll eventually see in the mirror that this doesn’t look good, and they will figure out a way to make this right.”

Tuberville disagreed with a succinct post on X (formerly Twitter) over the weekend: “Good luck.”

Good luck. https://t.co/CvtttRSH4j

— Tommy Tuberville (@TTuberville) August 19, 2023

Kaine also said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell should strip Tuberville of his committee assignments if he doesn’t lift the holds.

Tuberville (R-Auburn) has placed a hold on Pentagon general and flag officer promotions due to the Department of Defense’s decision to pay for abortion-related expenses for servicemembers with taxpayer dollars.

According to a report from Newsmax, a Club for Growth poll shows Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Huntsville) would defeat former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore if the two were to potentially face off in a runoff situation in the upcoming 2020 Republican U.S. Senate primary contest.

The two were opponents in the 2017 special election Republican primary for U.S. Senate in a contest that also included then-U.S. Sen. Luther Strange (R-Mountain Brook). Moore and Strange finished in the top two in a crowded field, with Moore securing the nomination in a runoff six weeks later.

But this time, a Club for Growth poll maintains the contest would be different if the Moore and Brooks were competitors again.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Newsmax has named has named Alabama’s own Jeff Sessions (R-AL) as the hardest working U.S. Senator in the country.

Newsmax determined the ranking by taking an anonymous poll of staffers and colleagues. “Whether it is jetting home on weekends, putting in long hours in Washington or on the campaign trail, or their political rise and survive, these 10, observers agree, have an excess of elbow grease,” the list says.

In earning his number one overall ranking, the political outlet said this about the Alabama Senator:

“When U.S. Attorney Jeff Sessions was blocked as George H.W. Bush’s nominee to the U.S. Court of Appeals, observers who wrote him off as “finished” didn’t reckon with the prosecutor’s ability to rebound. He got elected attorney general of Alabama, then won the seat of the Democratic senator who blocked him (Howell Heflin). These days, Sessions is his party’s hardest charger in the Senate on illegal immigration and a top advisor to Donald Trump.

Sessions has long been admired in the yellowhammer state, but has seen increasing national exposure in light of his strong support for GOP front-runner Donald Trump. He became the only sitting U.S. Senator to officially endorse the New York Billionaire at a massive Alabama event in late February.

A long-time advocate of strict immigration laws and “fair-trade”, Sessions was a natural fit for the Trump campaign and became his top National Security Advisor in March.

The close relationship that they two have developed led to speculation that Sessions could be a potential running mate. However, Sessions himself shut down those rumors yesterday by stating he did not see that as a possibility.

Nesmax’s entire top ten list of hardest working senators can be seen here.
