Birmingham-based Sanders Capital Partners purchased three medical practice offices from the Surgical Dermatology Group. The acquisition of the offices in Vestavia, Montgomery, and Gadsden is valued at $12.4 million.

“The Surgical Dermatology Group portfolio represents an ideal acquisition to us in that it is home to a leading medical provider that has found these locations convenient and proximate to their patient base,” Jackson Stewart, executive vice president & general counsel for Sanders Capital, said in a news release.

In seven years of operation, the firm has acquired retail centers, medical properties, strategic land, and light industrial properties primarily throughout the Southeast, Midwest and Southwest.

“We enjoy working with physician-owners to maximize the value of their real estate through the sale lease-back process and ensure the long-term continuity of their business,” Stewart said.
