Two young Mountain Brook girls were the victim of a vicious shark attack in June while vacationing on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Lulu Gribbin, 15, was critically injured after being bitten while McCray Faust, 16, suffered a serious bite to the foot.

Since that day, Lulu has received a great deal of support from Alabama businesses, organizations, and everyday citizens.

Now, Birmingham-based Royal Cup Coffee and Tea has released a signature blend to continue supporting Lulu’s path forward.

Senator Katie Britt, who introduced Lulu’s Law after the shark attack, thanked Royal Cup for supporting the young girl’s recovery.

“We are deeply moved by Lulu Gribbin’s strength and resilience,” said Chip Wann, CEO of Royal Cup Coffee and Tea. “With Lulu’s Blend, we aim to harness the power of our community to aid Lulu Gribbin in her recovery.”

“This blend is a tribute to her inspiring journey and an opportunity for our community to contribute to her recovery.”

Gribbin was released from the hospital on Friday after 77 days of intensive therapy.

“Lulu’s Blend,” a medium roast coffee with notes of chocolate and almond, can be purchased on the company’s website.
