Roll Tide (literally): Bama signs deal with Firestone tire company

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Nowadays, Alabama fans can represent the Crimson Tide with products of all shapes and sizes. The school’s iconic imagery can be found on polo shirts, pants, Coach Bryant houndstooth hats, and now car tires.

The University of Alabama just signed a licensing deal with Firestone Tires allowing the iconic company to sell products repping the Crimson Tide. For $139 each, fans can equip their cars with Bama Firestone tires.

Talk about “Roll Tide.”

Firestone was founded in 1900, and the company pioneered the mass production of rubber tires.
