Reporter demands a trigger warning for the book Read Freely Alabama wants in the kids’ section of the library?

When the Alabama Public Library Services Chairman John Wahl began reading from “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” a nervous reporter meekly asked that the Chairman provide a “TRIGGER WARNING” because the content was so vulgar.

This is the same content that the APLS was meeting to discuss regarding the Fairhope Public Library’s potential funding cut as they refuse to remove the book from the children’s section of the library.

While Read Freely Alabama racked up another loss, Fairhope’s residents lost library dollars for following their lead.
