Star Alabama wide receiver and returner Jaylen Waddle is returning to practice on Tuesday, according to a Monday report.

Per Alabama Media Group sources, Waddle could play for the Crimson Tide in the National Championship matchup against Ohio State next Monday, January 11.

The junior made a tremendous impact when he was on the field for the season’s first four games, with 25 catches for 557 yards and four touchdowns.

He is also an electric playmaker in the return game, as evidenced by being named a first-team All-American returner by CBS Sports and the Football Writers Association of America in 2019.

Waddle was a preseason All-American ahead of this season, which was cut short after an injury on the opening kickoff at Tennessee.
