U.S. Rep. Jerry Carl released his fifth television ad on Friday. In the 30-second spot, Carl (R-Mobile) promotes Alabama’s legacy of peanut farming — while also roasting the “liberal nutjobs with nutty ideas” he’s taken on in Washington during his time in Congress.

“Capitol Hill is full of liberal nutjobs with nutty ideas, but I’ve got a proven record of delivering on the Trump agenda and stopping liberal nutjobs from destroying our way of life,” Rep. Carl (R-Mobile) says.

“I’ve successfully taken on Biden to get the toughest border bill in history passed, plus I’ve stood up to the abortion lobby, the woke mob, and the gun grabbers who hate our Alabama values,” Carl says. “I’m an Alabama conservative who’s got what it takes to get the job done, and I won’t back down from the fight.”
