Rep. Gary Palmer: Democrats may change their nominee ‘but the policies will not’

Congressman Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) issued a strong statement after President Biden’s disastrous Thursday night press conference, forecasting that whoever the Democrats back as their party’s nominee, “the policies will be the same, and likely worse…”

“While President Biden’s press conference may not have answered all questions about his capability to continue his campaign for reelection, it should have convinced everyone that if he is reelected, the nation will continue to suffer the high costs of living, open borders, high energy costs, and be forced to accept biological boys and men taking over women’s sports,” Palmer said.

“After all, Biden stated plainly that he intends to finish what he started.”

“The Democrat power brokers, socialist elites, and left-wing media may continue to try to push Biden out. But regardless of who the Democrat party bosses would choose to put in Biden’s place, the policies will be the same, and likely worse – higher taxes, onerous regulations, massive increase in government spending, wide open borders, and dangerous foreign policy. The name the Democrat elites put on the ballot in November may change, but the policies will not.”

Whether or not Biden stays in the election will continue to be a heavy talking point as the Democratic National Convention approaches next month.
