Fifteen organizations from the Birmingham area have partnered to create a group called Rebound Bham that aims to help local business owners make it through the coronavirus pandemic.

Rebound Bham says it will “create workshops and resources” for Magic City entrepreneurs struggling with the effects COVID-19 has had on their businesses.

An online kickoff event is being held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. and, like all of Rebound Bham’s events, can be accessed free of charge.

Future events will focus on branding, financial terminology, adapting a business for the web, hiring staff and record keeping.

“Through virtual workshops, social media events, coaching sessions and resources, our team comprised of more than 15 organizations will help small business owners achieve skillset milestones to retain, sustain and expand their business through 2020,” the organization writes on its landing page for future events.
