Pearl: ‘Hamas must be destroyed’ for the safety of the Middle East

Auburn head basketball coach Bruce Pearl has never been shy about sharing political opinions to his personal Twitter account. And after the events in Israel and Gaza over the past several weeks with the death toll nearing 3,000 — Pearl has been very active in sharing his thoughts.

Pearl, a proud Jewish-American, posted yesterday:

Israel needs her big brother's support now more than ever! We need a strong Israel to be able to ally with her peaceful Arab neighbors and deal the terrorist regime in Iran. And Hamas must be destroyed, not for revenge, but for the safety of everyone living in the Middle East! pic.twitter.com/zjJ1DS71Bn

“Israel needs her big brother’s support now more than ever! We need a strong Israel to be able to ally with her peaceful Arab neighbors and deal the terrorist regime in Iran. And Hamas must be destroyed, not for revenge, but for the safety of everyone living in the Middle East!” Pearl stated.

On an interview with Outkick’s Dan Dakich last week, Pearl broke down the situation and essentially blamed the policies of the Obama and Biden administrations for funding Iran and thus allowing organizations like Hamas to continue to exist.

Pearl also told Dakich the world has not been this dangerous “since World War II.”
