Overdose deaths are down 30%, but Bradford Health Services is opposing more treatment facilities

At the height of the pandemic, Alabama overdose deaths were up significantly, but the numbers are coming down.

Treatment/rehabilitation options, NARCAN availability, and harsher penalties are being credited with helping bring the number of deaths down.

Now Bradford Health Services is trying to stop Longleaf Recovery & Wellness from providing more treatment options, a move the state of Alabama should reject.
