Niche names 25 best private schools in Alabama

Niche recently released its rankings for the top 25 private schools in the state and, unsurprisingly, the state’s fours largest cities -Huntsville, Birmingham, Montgomery, and Mobile – were home to the largest number of schools on the list.

However, simply because a school was located in one of those four cities it doesn’t necessarily mean a higher spot in Niche’s 2023 rankings. A prime example of this is Indian Springs School, about 15 miles south of Birmingham, which finished in the top spot for the second consecutive year in a row.
