(Video above: Jared Paschall leads his Harvest Elementary gym class in a Whip and Nae Nae workout)
If you haven’t seen the Whip and Nae Nae dance, or at least heard the song, you’ve probably been living under a rock for the past six months. But even if you’re familiar with the dance craze that has swept across the world, you’ve probably never seen it quite like this before.
Jared Paschall, a gym coach at Harvest Elementary in Harvest, Alabama, decided to liven up his students’ cardio workouts by Whip and Nae Nae-ing them into shape.
“(It’s) an easy to learn aerobic dance that is a lot of fun and will get your heart pumping,” Paschall explained. “The students will perform this dance every Thursday this year in physical education class to warm the up for the day.”
Paschall was recently named Teacher of the Year at Harvest Elementary, and it’s easy to see why.
Check out his handy work in the video above, which has already received almost a million plays since being uploaded to YouTube a couple of weeks ago.
