US service academies info sessions set this month

The Alabama congressional delegation will be hosting information sessions for the U.S. service academies this month, Sen. Tommy Tuberville announced.

The sessions, taking place around the state, will also include participation from Sen. Katie Britt and other members of the Alabama delegation.

Congressional staff and service academy representatives will be on hand to discuss each office’s application process.

The sessions are:

  • Aug. 7 at 6 p.m.

  • Aug. 15 at 6 p.m.
    North Huntsville Public Library
    3011 Sparkman Drive
  • Aug. 17 at at 6 p.m.
    USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park
    The Ward Room on the USS Alabama
    2703 Battleship Memorial Parkway
  • Aug. 22 at 6 p.m.
    Homewood Public Library — Round Auditorium
    1721 Oxmoor Road
  • Aug. 24 at 6 p.m.
    Troy University — Hawkins-Adams Hall
    417 University Ave.
  • Aug. 27 at 3 p.m.
    Montgomery Academy — Jim Wilson Jr. Theater

  • Aug. 29 at 6 p.m.
