BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s (UAB) online courses are listed among the best in the nation among accredited programs as ranked by createacareer.org.
Coming in at #19, UAB Online is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS), one of six regional accreditation agencies.
UAB offers fully-online Bachelor’s degrees in accounting, finance, health care management and marketing, as well as master’s degrees in sociology, early childhood education, civil structural engineering and more.
Additionally, UAB Online offers the ability to complete doctoral programs in education and engineering as well as professional certificates in several areas.
Students are offered 24/7 technical support, library resources, an online bookstore, and online advisers.
UAB Online also has several specialized accreditation programs, including the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB International), the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM), the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), and the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
