Tuscaloosa GOP’s annual dinner will feature keynote speaker Karl Rove

The Tuscaloosa Republican Party is hosting their annual Lincoln-Reagan dinner on Oct. 7 featuring keynote speaker Karl Rove.

Rove served as Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush from 2000–2007 and Deputy Chief of Staff from 2004–2007. At the White House he oversaw the Offices of Strategic Initiatives, Political Affairs, Public Liaison, and Intergovernmental Affairs and was Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, coordinating the White House policy-making process. He is also known as “The Architect” of President Bush’s 2000 and 2004 campaigns.

Rove also has a history in Alabama politics. He played an integral role in flipping the state’s courts from Democrat to Republican.

Rove is now a Fox News contributor and Wall Street Journal columnist. His 2010 book, “Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight,” was a New York Times Bestseller.

The event’s venue is The Zone at Bryant-Denny stadium, a 15,500 square foot facility in which the Tuscaloosa GOP has hosted their annual dinner several times in the past.

Individual tickets are $75 and individual photo op tickets with Karl Rove are $50.

There are also three levels of sponsored tables:

Gold Table sponsorships for $1500 include preferred dinner seating at the sponsor’s table for ten people and include photo ops, pre-dinner reception tickets, and signed copies of Karl Rove’s book Courage and Consequence for each.

Silver Table sponsorships for $1000 include preferred dinner seating at the sponsor’s table for ten people, ten photo ops, two tickets to the pre-dinner reception, and one signed copy of Courage and Consequence.

Friends of the Party sponsorships for $750 include preferred dinner seating at the sponsor’s table for ten, two photo op tickets, and one copy of Courage and Consequence.
