Trump’s sky-high Alabama approval rating holds steady

President Donald Trump’s approval rating in Alabama held steady at 63 percent through August, according to Morning Consult, however, West Virginia and Wyoming now rank atop the list of states in which Trump is best received.

While Alabama’s approval and disapproval numbers remain unchanged from July to the end of August, West Virginia moved up a percentage point to 64 percent approval and Wyoming moved up two points to 65 percent approval.

Alabama also has the third lowest disapproval rating of the president, at 33 percent. The differences between Wyoming, West Virginia and the Yellowhammer State are all within the margin of error.

Washington, D.C. (17 percent approval, 79 percent disapproval), Vermont (33 percent approval, 64 percent disapproval) and California (35 percent approval, 61 percent disapproval) are Trump’s lowest performing areas in polling.
