Trump ALGOP dinner nearly sold out

Following a trend of sold-out events, the Alabama Republican Party’s summer dinner – featuring former President Donald Trump – is on track to join that same category.

“The response we’ve received since we announced President Trump as our keynote speaker has been overwhelming,” said ALGOP Chairman John Wahl. “We expect individual tickets to be sold out imminently, and sales for table sponsors will shut down on Friday, if not sooner.

“We are excited at this opportunity to raise the profile of our state by hosting the GOP frontrunner for president, and giving Alabamians the chance to interact with him. Alabama is a Super Tuesday state, and will play an important role in selecting our party’s nominee.”

The event is Aug. 4 at the Renaissance Montgomery hotel. A reception is at 6 p.m. and the dinner is at 7 p.m. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased here.

The last event President Trump attended in Alabama was his record-breaking Cullman rally in 2021 which drew 50,000 people and was the largest political event in the state’s history.
