Three people from Chattanooga have been arrested while allegedly looting a Fultondale home devastated by Monday night’s EF-3 tornado, the local police department announced on Thursday.
The individuals — two adults and one juvenile — are charged with burglary in the third degree.
The alleged looting incident has triggered a citywide curfew as recovery efforts continue.
At least one teenager was killed and 30 people were injured in Northern Jefferson County during the severe weather on Monday.
