The Poarch Band of Creek Indians (PCI) announced on Thursday that Huntsville’s Media Fusion LLC has been selected as the prime contractor to provide communications services under an award by NASA.
Media Fusion is a Rocket City company that is owned by PCI. The tribe is based in Atmore, Alabama.
Under the awarded Strategic Research and Analysis, Communications, and Exhibits Services (SRACES) contract, NASA in a release advised that Media Fusion will “provide comprehensive strategic research and analysis, communications, and exhibits services at the agency’s Marshall Space Flight Center.”
NASA stated that the SRACES award is a firm-fixed-price contract with indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity task orders. The contract has a one-year base period, followed by four one-year option periods. The maximum potential value of the contract, including all options, is approximately $57.5 million. Media Fusion’s work on this contract will reportedly provide Huntsville with more than 60 jobs.
PCI Tribal Chair and CEO Stephanie A. Bryan said in a statement, “Providing Alabamians with jobs has long been a priority of PCI. Media Fusion is an award winning company with a proven record of quality work, and I am so proud of them for being a part of the Tribe and for receiving this contract. This is a testament to the hard work of Media Fusion and the entire team they’ve assembled.”
Media Fusion will support Marshall Space Flight Center’s Office of Strategic Analysis and Communications.
“Marshall’s Office of Strategic Analysis and Communications (OSAC) has a continuing need for these services, which are key in implementing and maintaining an overarching communications strategy that clearly and consistently communicates NASA’s strategic vision and guidance, along with Marshall’s goals and business strategy, to both internal and external stakeholders. Services performed under this contract include support for OSAC and its customers, along with satisfying specific communications product-oriented requirements,” NASA explained.
Alabama House Minority Leader Anthony Daniels (D-Huntsville) commented, “The Poarch Creek Indians continue to advance our community here in Huntsville. I am so thankful for the jobs Media Fusion continues to provide to our area.”
