In 2005, a young girl from Mountain Brook, Alabama disappeared on a high school graduation trip to Aruba making headlines internationally. Natalee Holloway missed her flight back home to Birmingham on May 30, 2005 and has never been seen or heard from since. After her disappearance, a massive search ensued but nothing was ever found.
