Nervous Stomach Leads To Arrest in Limestone County Burglary Case

As reported by WHNT News, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office indicates that their lab as made a DNA match from a vomit sample collected at a burglary crime scene in March.

Earlier this year, the Limestone County Sheriff responded to a burglary off of Section Line Road. Upon investigation, they determined that the suspect had vomited while fleeing from the scene.

The homeowner informed police that they had startled the burglar during the act, and as he made his way out, he left something behind.

It took a few months for the sample to come back from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for DNA testing. However, once returned, the DNA was cross-referenced with the Limestone County Sheriff’s database, leading to the arrest of James Marlon White.

White, 35, has been charged with burglary and is currently held on a $10,000 bond.
