Jalen Hurts: ‘Always put my trust in God, Why would I stop now?’

A recent tweet by former University of Alabama Crimson Tide star quarterback Jalen Hurts underlined his longtime outspokenness in proclaiming his Christian faith and sharing his testimony.

As the nation deals with the coronavirus (COVID-19) and Hurts continues preparations for April’s NFL Draft (which will no longer be held as a public event in Las Vegas), the 2019 Heisman Trophy runner-up tweeted, “Always put my trust in God, Why would I stop now[?]”

Hurts was set to hold a youth football camp at the Hoover Met this coming Sunday, however that camp will not proceed as scheduled due to the coronavirus.

He recently participated in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, making a triumphant return to the state of Alabama after playing last season for the University of Oklahoma Sooners.
