Attendees will learn of the active role these entities play in conducting United States space operations as well as achieving national security objectives relating to missile defense. The event will host acquisition and warfighting panels, key Command and space support updates, as well as provide insight into the future of space and missile defense.
The network is a strong display of influence for the northern region of the Yellowhammer State, as Huntsville continues to expand the ever-growing role it plays in U.S. military and space exploration operations. Redstone Arsenal houses over 70 federal entities on the Army post which spans across the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Defense (DOD) and NASA.
Huntsville is also home to the nation’s second-largest research park which is a leading hub for innovative designs studies and technological advancements. Cummings Research Park hosts multiple U.S. space and defense agencies and is also home to leading businesses in the science and technology industry.
The Tennessee Valley, due to the booming industrial state of the Huntsville metropolitan area, is a robust economic driving force of the state as both the public and private sectors continue to invest in the talent-rich region of Alabama.
