Huntsville market in running for Colorado-based aerospace contractor Infinity Systems as firm seeks growth opportunities

The Rocket City is on the radar of Colorado-based aerospace engineering firm Infinity Systems as the company is seeking to expand its footprint.

According to reporting by local Colorado Springs newspaper The Gazette, Infinity Systems is looking to undertake an ambitious growth strategy, which involves the company selecting new locations from which to seek additional business.

Infinity Systems president Dan Jaworowski mentioned potential landing spots for the firm’s growth plans.

“We have some pretty aggressive goals for the growth of the company,” said Jaworowski. “We are looking at markets like Los Angeles, Huntsville [Alabama] and the space coast in Florida.”

The Gazette reports that the company has been in business for 25 years and has approximately 225 employees. The paper says Jaworowski’s aggressive growth plans include hiring close to 25 additional employees in various locations which the company has under consideration.

Infinity Systems specializes in space operations, systems engineering, test engineering as well as software engineering.

“Those services run the gamut of development services that are purely systems engineering or model-based systems engineering that might be for ground systems or for satellite systems,” said Jaworowski.

He added, “Couple with that we offer a wide range of services for what we’ll call space operations, which is really the flying of the satellites, doing command and control and prelaunch services.”

According to the newspaper, the firm’s top clients include the Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon, all of which conduct or contract operations in Huntsville.

Huntsville has become a target location for aerospace firms seeking to expand their contract portfolios. The North Alabama city holds some of the nation’s most attractive real estate as companies seek to operate in close proximity to industry partners and vital government entities.
