There many reasons why U.S. News & World Report recently named Huntsville the Best Place to Live, and every one of those reasons can be found in the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau’s newly released 2022-2023 Destination Guide.

From history to mystery to the arts and the parks and sports of all sorts, the Destination Guide is a comprehensive resource for those traveling to Huntsville.

“The main function of the CVB is to serve as the primary visitor resource for all things Huntsville/Madison County,” said Judy Ryals, bureau president and CEO. “Whether people are coming to the area for a vacation, convention, field trip, or as part of an international tour group, we aim to ensure that their experience is a positive one, and the Destination Guide is one of our top resources to assist in completing their mission while in the Rocket City.”

The guide is available free through Alabama Welcome Centers, the Huntsville/Madison County Visitor Center, Huntsville and Madison County attractions and hotels, and at the information kiosks in downtown Huntsville and the Huntsville International Airport. It can also be downloaded online and through mail requests.

There is information on local attractions, restaurants, bars and breweries, arts and cultural offerings, historical points of interest, annual events, transportation, lodging, retail, and new developments coming to the area.
