Scientists at the Huntsville company BioDynami have developed a new product that will allow people to sequence their DNA in less time for less money.
The product, which is called the NGS RNA Library Prep Kit, was developed through multitudinous experiments and has been tested on several platforms.
BioDynami is located within the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology’s campus on Huntsville’s Cummings Research Park.
BioDynami was founded in 2015 and joined the HudsonAlpha campus a year later.
According to data provided by the company, their product is significantly more efficient than its competitors.
The products created by BioDynami are used by research labs across the nation for a variety of purposes.
“We’re very proud of this product because today, so many solutions are dependent on sequencing, and this product will help sequencing labs get answers much faster,” said Dr. Jun Song, a cofounder of BioDynami and the lead on the new sequencing product.
