Democrat Polling Firm Offers $1,000 to Political Armchair Quarterbacks

Alabama-based Democrat polling firm Anzalone-Liszt Research — whose clients include Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader, and the Alabama House Democrats — is offering $1,000 to the best political prognosticator to emerge from their 2nd annual “Beat the Pollsters” contest. The firm sent out the below email today announcing the contest and inviting political armchair quarterbacks far and wide to participate.

Think the polls are skewed? Think campaigns’ internals are bogus? Think the media pollsters don’t know what they’re doing? Here is your chance to prove you’re smarter than the average pollster. Anzalone Liszt Research invites you to participate in our second “Beat the Pollsters” contest, where you pick who’s going to win the White House and targeted swing Senate and House races across the country.

The prize for first place: $1000. There is no fee to participate.

Ground rules:
1. Entries must be submitted one week before Election Day – by midnight EASTERN, Tuesday, October 30th.
2. We need your name and email to contact the winner. All information will be confidential.
3. Entries will be anonymous and we will not release your picks to anyone. We will announce the winner in our newsletter.
4. Only 1 entry per person.

Anyone can enter. Doesn’t matter your party affiliation or if you work in politics. We take all comers. And feel free to send to any friends, co-workers, or any political junkie who might want to participate.

Completing the entry should take just a few minutes, but if you don’t fill out all categories, you can’t win the prize.
